TAPS Issues

I'm getting the boat ready for summer and have come to checking into the TAPS. Last summer it started giving me problems. I could adjust them all the way to 10 with no problem. Getting them back to 1 meant getting under the baot and applying pressure on the plate. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

Sounds like you are low on TAPS fluid, which is transmission fluid.
