I think that's a Z3 or RZ2 beside it. Definitely not a RZR based on the interior and bow speaker locations.

Good call. Probably a '12 or newer RZ2 then based on the diamond pattern on the vinyl.

Im wondering if the pic in the add is at the dealers warehouse or the auction house warehouse! If you look at the auction add, you can see an Alpha-Z behind the RZ4.

The boat you guys are looking at has black WS's on the tower and the Alpha-Z in the add pic has white. i wonder if its another salvaged tige

Now I wonder which lake it sunk in. How I found out about the minerals in the water was my brothers boat had an issue and had water in it. The lake it sunk in had the mineral and was said to ruin the wires fairly quickly.

The guy I talked to on Saturday at High Adventure Power Sports said he thinks it sunk at Yuba Lake. I don't know how long it was under. While we were there we noticed it was still wet in a few spots. It's a great looking boat.

We noticed while we were there it looks like they drug it out of the lake. The fins on the bottom were all but gone. The center of the V bottom was paintless, and the part on the front you hook up to when you put the boat on the trailer was just about torn out of the boat.

It would make an amazing project boat.

I bet it ran aground, ripped the tracking fins off and sank.

Not that it really matters, damage is damage.

I talked to the GM at high adventure about this boat 4 or 5 weeks ago when I was there. here is what I was told, so take for it works.

Two boats tied up on yuba lake. storm rolled in and they where tied up to another boat... and moored to the shore.. the waves came in port or starboard side and the rocking motion of being tied up filled it up and sunk it. I was told the boat was there less then 24 hours. and the water was only 12ft deep in this location was in a cove area.

as far as the damage.. my guess salvaging it. I was told new motor would be needed, most likely. the rest is pretty obvious.

now the accuracy of it.. not sure.. like I said just what i was told.

gcombe74, IIRC there was a question about taking a sunken boat, I thought it was at Willard. Is this one in the same?

Interesting how they are left. I would've thought they would've wanted them out quick so as to not pollute the water or have someone run into it. There is a lake here that had boat sink. They marked it with a buoy that is still there. Last time out a couple of weeks ago we asked about it and another similar buoy but couldn't get any answers. They acted like a boat never sank. Iwndr what the secret is?

Here in Minnesota if you sink a boat in the summer or a truck or snowmobile in the winter thru the ice the DNR actually fines you by the day till its removed. If it goes past a certain period they will have it removed and send you the bill.
