06 22ve Engine skips and alarm goes off

Was out this morning pulling our 5 year old and three times when circling back to get her - just in gear or bumping between forward and neutral - engine hesitated or skipped then the alarm sensor sounded. Turn the boat off and start again and things seem normal for a bit then it happens again. Any ideas? Low oil pressure sensor? Something interrupting fuel supply?

I just recently had the same thing happen to me twice. The first time it was a faulty oil pressure sensor and the second time the drive belt was starting to break.
