    Missing Taps plate.

I have a 2010 Tige 24ve, I pulled it out of the water after a day of boating and noticed the taps plate had fallen off. I called the local dealer and they told me that Tige only sales the entire taps system for $475. I was woundering if anyone knows where i can just pick up the plate and save some money?

I think that Bennet is the manufacturer of the system - you could try contacting them, but looks like they only sell through distributors: http://www.bennetttrimtabs.com/

Has the dealer tried talking to Tige directly about it? In an unusual situation like this, maybe Tige would make an exception and send out just the plate.

The dealer did have to get the hull# for the boat to contact tige. So I do believe they did have direct contact with tige.

Dang, what kind of holes did it leave in your gelcoat? Mine is screwed on with an abundance of screws. Where did it let go? Hinge, transom? Never seen that on the forums. Good luck!

The hinge is still attached to the transom. It broke off from the hinge.
