hour meter stopped working

My hour meter stopped working. I have a Faria gauge that everything works like air temp, water temp, mph etc, except the hour part has stopped at 215 and isnt adding up. any ideas?

Check connections, they're directly linked (only one positive and one negative) from the keyswitch. If they're still connected and it's still not working, get a new unit.

my hour meter stopped working, when i put a volt meter to it it shows 12.7 volts at the meter but meter does not work does that mean my meter is no good?

I think this was a pretty common problem. I sent one back to Faria under warranty, but I doubt that yours is still covered.

If you have the Faria Pilot System like mine, the manual says the hour meter works when line voltage is 13.6V. This is supposed to be indication that the engine is running. I was able to get the manual from the Tige web site several years ago, I'm not sure if it is still there.
