speedometer on 22i

Hi to all,

I have my speedometer out of service on my 22i 2007. It showes zero both on the digital and manual speedometer. All other gauges are working.

I switch off power for one night but the speedometer is still not working.
All cables on the dash are connected.

I can not find the speedometer on the boat, where is it ?

What can be the problem with the speedometer ?

Your speed signal is generated by a paddle wheel that's mounted through the bottom of the boat. Its probably just behind the engine on the port side. Inspect the wheels 4 paddles to make sure they are there and intact. Also check the wheel for free movement.

Thanks, I found it. The 4 paddles are broken.
Can I buy only the paddlewheel or I should buy all the sensor "airmar 20-459-01". Is my reference (part number) correct ?
Where can I buy it ?

Exactly! Get the wheel kit. Also, is you boat stored on a lift? This seems to be the #1 killer of paddle wheels.

No my boat is not stored on a lift, I think it's when I put the boat on the trailer I broke the paddle wheel.

I will order this kit

The part number 20-459-01 is not correct, it's not the PN of the sensor, it's only the hood on the sensor

Do you know the exact model of the triducer airmar multisensor, on a 22i of 2007

The multisensor Airmar is a DST800-N2000
The paddle wheel kit part number is 33-398-04
The Blanking Plug part number is 33-486-01

I bought the blanking part too and I bought it directly from Airmar
