we just bought the boat and put 15 hrs on and when you would throttle the boat would fight to faster. we found that it had no tranny fluid and we put 2 3/4 quarts into it. 1 week later there was easily a quart of fluid in the bilge any ideas on where the leak could be?

I know if you over fill the transmission, there are over flow (blow out tubes) for the fluid to release under pressure.
Is the fluid not even on the dip stick?
Do you notice fluid residue in the water at the bottom of the hull?
Wipe out the hull and put a clean white cotton cloth under the transmission and check for a leak over night.Nick

Mine was leaking at the transmission cooler first, I fixed that loose connection and thought I had it and then it started leaking again. The second leak was from the bolt that SpecialK points out in this thread.

The cooling lines run from the top and starboard side of the tranny and run down the starboard side of the engine to the cooler that is just past the carpeted muffler. Hope this helps and good luck
