Any advice about the packing on prop?

Hey guys, can anyone give a little advice or how to on the packing of the prop shaft? I had a bent prop on my 97 Tige pre 2050. I noticed water coming in the engine compartment when the boat sat anchored. and when I was driving no water would come in what so ever. It was taking on an inch and a half of water within 30 minutes. So I looked at it no leaks, noticed water was leaking out of the shaft from the prop. So took the prop off ordered a four blad which will be here tomorrow. Figured leak is coming from the packing being bad. So I guess my question is how to replace and put in new packing? Any links or videos would be helpful to. Thank you all for your time.

I ended up replacing mine with a new PSS.

I had the same issue this year. I also ended up going with the PSS system. It was a PITA to remove the coupling from the drive shaft, but having one less thing to worry about sure makes for a better experience.
