    hard starting

sorry for the bad typing but i broke my collarbone and only have 1 hand...
anyway, my 05 22v (350 mag mpi) requires a bit of throttle to start when cold. I've never seen a mpi engine have a hard time starting like this. after surfing for a while its even worse. I realize engines get loaded up after running low rpms for extended periods of timem however this seems to be excessive. I might run a can of seafoam through it and see if that helps.
Not a huge deal, i just thought i would see what you guys thought,
    Thanks,
    Kasey

Dump your water separator in a bucket and see if you get separation. Check the plugs for fouling. They only cost about 2 bucks a piece to replace. Check the timing bolt to see if its tight. If it's loose at all, get a timing light and set the initial timing to about 11 degrees. Then rev it a little to set total timing to 27 degrees plus or minus 2 degrees.
Hmmmm.. that's all i got for an injected boat. If it were carb, I'd be more help.

Possible MAP sensor prob or IAC. How does it run after it starts? Idle problems?

Leaky fuel injector? You could test that out by checking the fuel pressure and see what you have. Start it, let it run, turn it off and then watch the pressure gauge to see if it drops. If it drops, you have a bad injector(s).
