Taps will adjust to 1 but after motoring along will move to #2 setting. Sometimes adjusting from 10 down to 1 it will stop at 3 and will only go down to 1 or 2 with several clicks on the adjustment switch. Pulled the boat out of the water and appears to have a frothy liquid coming from the cylinder attached to the taps plate. Is there a seal that holds the fluid in the cylinder? Do I have to replace the taps shock looking cylinder thingy (I know this is a funny description of the part) has anybody else experienced this or is this part available? Tige dealer is closed today, thought I may get an answer quicker posting this thread.

Check with Bennett, as they make the system. I've heard great things about their customer service, and most people with problems seem to be able to fix it themselves with just replacing a part or two. http://www.bennetttrimtabs.com/
