Ok today out of no where I put the boat in nutral and it started idoling around 1200. After trying a few things the only way i can get it to go down is to turn the nob on the pp servo motor but after we make a run and I put it back into nutral it does it again. 2005 22v

I know of another boat that has this same problem. It seems like the cables wear out and starts to stick in the sleeve. Try disconnecting the cable from the throttle linkage and run some oil through it. Or just talk to perfect pass and buy a new cable.
Also, we have had luck by quickly revving the engine for a quick temporary fix.Common Sense is not so Common
