After topping off with oil at the lake last weekend, I began to here a small(but fast) clicking sound from my engine compartment. It sounds like a small rattle from a tin can. I can't pinpoint where the click is coming from. After driving it back in, the noise went away for 10 minutes and then re-appeared. Any thoughts?

sounds like a normal clatter of the valves. Mine has the same tic, and it's been going on since I owned the boat. -
Possible rocker, lifter or pushrod issue. Those are roller lifter engines so it's possible you may have gotten a piece of crud in there and the lifter is sticking.Fixing everyone elses boat just so I can use mine...Comment
