    Gauge Needle

I just noticed that one of the little red needles fell off of one of my gauges. I can see it lying at the bottom of the gauge and it does'nt look like it's broken. Can anybody tell me if there is a way to get in there and fix it. It's four in one gauge with fuel, oil, volt, and temp. The volt needle is the one that fell off.

The Faria gauge itself has a lifetime warranty, but not the labor to replace it.

Still wondering if there is anyway to open up the gauge and reinstall the needle. I can see it and it does'nt appear to be broken...it just fell off its post/pivot point. I thought maybe I could just put it back on if I could get to it.

If not, does anybody know if there is anything special that needs to be done when putting in a new gauge. I took a look at it and other than the dozen or so wires it did'nt look to complicated, I figure you just have to make sure that you get all of the wires back in the right places and you should be good to go.

I just had my 4 in 1 gauge out this past weekend tightening up the connections. If you look on the back of the gauge there are two recessed knobs that can be turned to release the gauge from the outside case. You might be able to just reattach the needle. I did not venture to turn them so I can't tell you what will happen if you do. But, if you are contemplating a new gauge you may not have anything to lose by trying (unless Faria voids the warranty if the gauge is opened?)

        Good luck.
