    Oil Sending unit

Can someone please help me with the oil sending unit part number for a Marine Power 335HP 5.7l engine? We have an 04 22i. I did a search but could not come up with the part number.

Some of those engines have 2. One for the gauge and one for the sounder.

Thanks guys!! The part I recognize looks like part# 0940-0002

I am not sure what the sounder would look like.

The sounder is the buzzer behind the dash. It make noise, so I would worry about what it looks like

chit... lol. I ned the one for the gauge. The gauge reads zero at all times, but there is no alarm!

so I guess I need the 0303-017F3 part?

With the key, ground the lead off the sender. They gauge should sweep to the other side. This helps determine if its the gauge or sender.

OK. Thanks. Will try that when it is time to unwrap the boat. I am getting a couple of things I'll need to start the season (impeller too) but it makes sense to wait...

Boat is unwrapped! So I guess I can just test the wire going to the sender by touching it to the engine block?

Just make sures its a clean ground and not the painted engine block.
