There's a "trap" of sorts in the form of a transmission cooler bundle. It's located immediately after the raw water pump and has several small tubes inline that pass the raw water. That's usually where impeller blades go when they quit the game and block water flow. Get a Globe silicone run dry impeller to help eliminate raw water flow problems. I also agree the thermostat didn't open, either from being stuck or air pocket.

Took the boat out yesterday and it ran great except for slight delay if throttle up slowly, which I think is from old distributor cap. The boat is running cool, but I do think there is some blockage though. Because when I turn the shower on there is not much pressure at all. Am I thinking correctly here?

Is your shower driven by a separate pump or the raw water pump on the engine? If it's by the engine, rpms determine pressure so idle rpm water pressure is lighter than even say 1200 rpm and so on.

I'm not sure going to pull up box in back storage to see if pump is contained under there. Pressure was still not great ideling at 2500 rpms. I appreciate all of the help and support everyone is providing.
