I just purchased a my first tige 1996 2100 wt and am having a problem with the throttle slipping when driving, has anyone had this problem before? if so how did you fix it? Thank you!

Slipping as in when you let go it slips back to idle? Don't let go of the throttle

If you mean slipping like the throttle handle moves to easy and increases or decreases the speed. Their is a set screw you can tighten behind the throttle handle. I think you gotta remove the handle to get to it. Tighten it till your happy with the movement---v^---v^---v^_____---v^---v^ For a second there. I was bored to death!!Comment

yeah the problem is I just have to hold the throttle the whole time if I let go it will fall back to a slow idle. I will try to tighten the set screw and see if that works. ThanksComment
