    Active Engine Faults 2017 RZX3

Good morning; I'm new to the group and hoping I can get some guidance.

A few months ago I purchased our 2017 RZX3 from a local Tige authorized dealer. Unfortunately, when it comes to used boats, they don't appear to take much pride in ensuring that what they sell is in good condition; we've been experiencing a lot of little issues that have been addressed, just not in a timely fashion.

Most recent, a ballast bag busted when we used the surf system for the first time. We did have a lot of water in the engine compartment and the boat would not accelerate beyond 9 MPH. Got the boat back to the dealer, they fixed the bag, and while water testing, they noticed it was idling hot. They first replaced the impeller, but it turned out there was a leak in the impeller housing unit.

Fast forward to a couple week when we get our boat back and get it back on the water, things appear to be running fine, but I notice that when I accelerate the boat would get to about 15-16 MPH than struggle to go faster. We were pulling a tube, so I pulled that out of the water to see if that was creating the drag, but it kept doing it. So we started making out way in and I got an "Active Engine Fault Has Occurred" message on my screen. When I hit "Yes" to see the issue it just took me to the home page. A minute later, the message come up again, hit "Yes" to see the issue, but just took me to the home page. Parked the boat, left it overnight. Next morning I found the page that list all of the faults but there was nothing listed there.

Has anyone experienced this or have thoughts on what could be happening here. I've reached back out to the dealer's service shop but have not heard back. But my frustration and curiosity are peaked to where I want to get feedback from others that might have some insight. Thanks

There should be active and in active faults. See what faults are listed under in active. But just looking at your picture your boat is over heating and oil pressure is pretty low.

bsreid, thank you for the feedback, and I noticed that, too. The service tech gave me the impression that the leak in the impeller unit would address the overheating they were seeing, but I guess that wasn't the issue, although the fact that they found a leak tells me there are probably more issue with this boat than what I'm aware of.
Not with the boat now, but will be back at the lake later this week; will check to see if can locate the active and inactive faults. If on the same fault page, neither had any as I did see two sections on that page.

Do not run the boat if it is that hot. Anything over 170 is going to cause more issues. You can check the codes just on the trailer.
