2016 Tige Z3 starter?

My starter has won't start everytime anymore. I was wondering if I have a top mount or bottom mount starter. It's the indmar raptor 400.

It should be the block mounted starter, the exhaust routing on those engines doesn't allow for top mount starter installs.

My buddy’s Z3 was doing same thing. Pulled starter and lubed it up as it had some corrosion keeping pinion gear from sliding back and forth. Works like a charm now. It’s below the port exhaust that’s accessible from the port aft locker.
