2007 24VE Throttle and Speedometer

I took the boat out today for the first time. I ran fine for 10-15 minutes and then while planed out it went to an idle and would only idle. I plan to replace the fuel filter. Any other suggestions?

Also, the analog and digital speedometer both read 0. Where should I start with this, paddle wheel?

Sounds like a limp mode problem. As suggested in this forum, I replaced the TPS (Throttle position sensor). Check out this thread. https://www.tigeowners.com/forum/tec...d-calibrate-it

I had an 06 and it dropped into limp mode like that with some bad gas.

Does anyone know of a cheap scanner for the MEFI-5a system?

I ordered a new fuel filter and the TPS sensor and I am patiently waiting for them to arrive before the holiday weekend! Old TPS already removed.

So there is no MEFI fault reset required after replacing the TPS sensor?
