    1999 2100V transmission problems?

I just bought a 1999 2100V that had 91 hours on it and the engine, transmission, and boat are in like new condition. The boat had not been drivin for 5 to 7 years. After changing the fuel pump, it stated right up and the engin ran strong and smooth. It pulled skiers up with no problem at all, but I did notice that while in gear at 1,100 to 1,300 RPMs there is a noticable increase/change in noise and slight vibration. It appears to be coming from the transmission or v drive unit? I checked the oil in both units and they are very clen and full. Any RPM above or below that range I do not hear or feel any thing unusal? I have never driven a v drive model and am wondering if this is normal or where the problem might be???

    Congratulations

You will love the boat. What prop do you have. These boats (mine did) came with a stainless, Cutter prop. Very stiff blades and put off a lot of vibration at low RPM's. Switched to an Acme, and much better performance and no vibration. Check it out.
