2006 22ve 5.7 340hp. 600hrs.
Occasionally, after idling in forward for a while (IE: going through a long no wake zone), when I push the throttle down, nothing happens. I can pull it back to neutral, put it in forward or reverse, nothing. It will engage both forward and reverse gears, but will not provide throttle. If I turn the key off (kill the motor) wait a few seconds and restart, everything is back to normal and works as it should.
Do any of you have any thoughts on what causes this? After much searching, I lean towards the TPS / PPS. TIA!
