    taps problem

got a 24v, after boarding, we sit for a while and the taps automatically raises itself after some time. the little motor on it does not stop. plate is all the way up, but motor still runs. to get it to stop i have to turn the batteries off. any ideas how to fix?

i'll bet the taps computer has failed. call your dealer.

Is the taps gauge not supposed to reset to wakeboard when the ignition is turned off? Mine has done that since i bought it.

it depends on when your boat was manufactured. some had a auto return after 5 min, some returned as soon as the key was turned off and some had a rocker switch on the dash to turn it on and off. i hope that helps?

I've got a 2000 21i, seems like the taps pump goes through a good bit of fluid. I filled it in early March and then last night the plate stopped moving...turns out it was out of fluid again.

Is this a normal cycle time?

It's really not a big deal to me other than being stuck in slamon while on the back lake @ CL. With the fat sacs the wake was still sweeeeeeet.

Just want to make sure I don't have something wrong with my baby.

i know that it is supposed to raise after like 5 minutes, but it just keeps running. matt said it is probably the modulator. it just drives me nuts.
