I have a 2003 350 MPI tow sport mercruiser motor and my serp. belt looks like it needs changing. Does any one know the belt number? can you get at an autoparts store?

I took mine off went into the local checker auto parts store and they all usually have a stick that measures belts and can match it up got me a new one. Just draw or take a picture of the current belt routing if you are worried you wont remember it I had mine off for almost a month and it took me a few minutes to figure it out.

Taking the belt off is LITERALLY a one minute job. Super easy. Getting the new one fed back on the proper wy takes a little bit longer, but still not a big deal. I changed my first one ever in about 15 minutes and I feel comfortable saying I could do the next one in under five minutes.
Below is all my important parts information for a 2002 MPI (which I have to assume is the same motor as yours)
oil: Mercury 25w-40 oil filter: NAPA 1069
trans fluid: ATF DexronIII Fram TG30
V-Drive: straight 30wt Conventional (non-detergent) oil Sierra 18-7824
SME therm kit: NAPA:18-3649 Merc 35-866340K01
Serpentine Belt: 57-807755(4)
Impeller: 47-59362T 1 Fuel/Wtr filter: 35-60494-1
Impeller Housing: 46-807151-14 Merc 35-802893Q01
NAPA 3225 (18-7844)Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Thanks Jason & wakemaker,
I updated my Winterization sheet w/ more p/n's that I didn't have. If anyone has p/n's that Jason didn't post, please post them. My sheet right now is for an older model Mercruiser 350 MPI/EFI engine.
I will also through this out there, If some has a different engine and has P/N's for items on that engine you can email me and I will add another sheet to my excel file for that engine. Right now Tige should have 3 or 4 engine sizes correct?
ThanksLast edited by TRD; 05-28-2010, 12:40 PM.Dale
