    350 mag mods

Anyone done any motor mods to the 350 mag MPI?

If you what any performance mods for your boat you should do it with using different props.

X2 on a prop swap........$400 and 15 mins later and you've increased your hole shot and improved the boat's ability to hold speed.

thats what I thought...quite a difference with just a prop huh?? the boat is pretty good already (only used it once so far) I was just kicking around some ideas. I know the mag has 315 hp and a lot of those boats were coming stock with 340 or 350 hp...didn't know if i was underpowered or not.

There's not much to do. It is fairly "built" as is. The best thing to do with them is make it run as good as you can with the basic stuff. Good quality plugs, wires, filters, oil. Keep these things tip top and it will run great forever. Don't bother looking for a K&N, they don't make them for that motor. Too much air equals too lean. It is what it is and the time, money and effort it would take to hotrod would be futile at best. A new prop is the hook up and worth every penny if you have the stock one on now.

Don't forget to get an FAE for that daddy. They are DOPE!"

Fresh Air Exhaust www.boatpipes.com and also do a search here for FAE.

It's an exhaust add-on that will reduce the noise level (instant stereo upgrade ) as well as reduce the amount of CO (Carbon Monoxide) from the area of the rider while the boat is under way. It does this by redirecting the exhaust into the prop wash.
