I think the Sierra ones that I get are around $20, I try to replace mine every year to 18 months no matter what so the life span isn't really a concern

I'm going to go pull the pump out today, and if I'm missing pieces, I'm curious of the best way to flush them out. What are yall's takes?

I've never had any pieces actually go past the housing, they are usually inside the housing or I have found some in the intake hose from the bottom of boat

I would follow the outlet hose to the first cooler thats where they get caught.

Got most of the pieces out, can't really tell yet if all of the fins are outta the boat or not, the thing looked like it damn near exploded... How do I backflush any remaining pieces out?

Also, my housing isn't a perfect circle. It looks warped. So do I have to get a new housing too?
