    clutch slipping

Today I noticed that the prop shaft is spinning while the gear lock out is engaged. It is spinning slowly. Mechanic in March said he thought clutch was starting to go out. Fluid is normal and was changed last fall.

Anybody know who much clutch replacement is? Also should this be happening on a 5 year old boat with only 335 hours that has been well taken care of?

    Can you provide more information?

As you know there is no "park" in a boat, therefore no park pawl. When in neutral there can be some neutral drag that can cause the shaft to spin.
    Bad decisions make good stories.
