Won't Idle

Last week while on Vacation this problem started and continues. The engine won't idle until it is warm. Usually about 5 min of running warms it up. After it is warm it runs and idles fine. I had the Idle Air Control valve replaced at the start of the season. This is really a PITA since I have to hog the ramp until I can get it to run.

Why did you replace the IAC?

Sounds like a faulty IAC, open in the IAC circuit, faulty engine temp sensor (not the sender for the gauge, but the sensor for the ECM, probably a 2-wire sensor). Is there any carbon buildup on the throttle plate that would restrict the minimum air rate?
