    2000 2100V steering cable part #

Anybody know it off-hand? I just got the boat, and its hard as a rock to turn to the left. Also, where is the cheapest place to order it from? Thanks a lot

If it still has the original Morse rotary helm here is info on the setup in our boat:
helm - Morse Tilt Rotary Helm Command 290 - 310742
    drive assembly - 309301
    cable, Morse - 304411-000-0204.0 (204 in = 17 ft)
    cable, Teleflex - SSC52xx (xx - ft, SSC5217)
I think yours is the same.
The cable should have the part no. printed on the casing on one of the ends.
Ours is on the helm end.

Here's a pic of the Morse Command 290.
A rotary steering cable goes in one opening, makes a 180 deg turn and comes out the other opening.
A rack would be a long rectangular housing under the dash with the cable going in one end and exiting the opposite.
