I keep refilling my transmission with a ½ quart of fluid after each hour of hard driving. There is a small amount of water in the fluid that shows on the stick, but the most troublesome part is that it keeps disappearing. Its not showing up in the bilge, and im not seeing any oil slick around the boat even when underway no wake. I have found the small heat exchanger on the side of the block between the water pump and starter. I am leaning on the idea that must be it. Any body have any other ideas. or maybe a diagram.

Sounds like a leaking trans cooler. Pull of the hose leading up to the raw water pump and check it for oil residue.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

OK, I was wrong, the transmission fluid isnt disapearing, its leaking out behind the shift lever attachment point. Round area behind the lever. I am looking at a parts blow up but not seeing any way of accessing this seal (must be a seal there). I hope im not looking at something major? any one have any ideas.
crazy but i was having a heck of a time finding a leak. It wasnt very obvious it just seamed to disapeer. I finally was able to locate it with a clean oil only pad.Son, life is mostly scars and souvenirs.

Actually kinda normal and no big deal. It is a DIY job if you're handy with tools.
