    Engine stalls

I have a 1999 2100V with 350 MAG MPI mercruiser. About a year ago I had to change out my ECM. The original ECM was discontinued and I placed the new ECM conversion kt that took it’s place. Since then I have a stalling problem occur when I decrease acceleration too fast. I usually end up stalling the boat once or twice an outing and the engine will start right back up again. Does any body know if I can have this ECM programmed to solve this problem? Does anybody have any other solutions?

Was the boat low on gas when it stalled?

Don't know about the conversion kits for those. Check for software updates from merc. Be sure you are running the correct software for your application.

I'd check your distributor cap. I have the same boat as you and we had some serious issues with the distributor cap.

I cleaned out the IAC valve and that helped a lot with my stalling issue.
