my steering is very hard to turn now?

really I was using it at the lake and went to use it the boat the next day and was really hard to turn.

mine tightend up in a matter of a couple of days as well without any real warning.then it went from tight to dam near stuck ina week.So bad the wife couldnt drive it.Installed the new one this weekend all is well now.

Steering cable needs replace. Mine was about that fast. Works fine one day the next feels like someone strapped 25 pounds to the rudder.
