We have a 2003 20V with the "TAPS II" system. This season the taps is stuck up in the default position. When the button is pressed the TAPS gauge jumps slightly and goes right back, and the voltmeter drops significantly when the button is pressed. After reading all the old threads last night for over an hour, I think I should look at the wires in the throttle handle to see if they are shorting out. I won't be at the lake again (where the boat is) until this weekend. Does this sound like the correct approach or is there something else that comes to mind?
