    cleaning waterspots off gauges

My gauges have slight water spots all over them. I'm not sure if it's salt deposits or just regular water spots. I've tried cleaning them with glass cleaner, with no results. I just bought meguiar's plastx, and have tried it on the gauge that got replaced by perfect pass. It didn't seem to help but I also, messed up the lens pretty bad on that gauge by trying all kinds of products.

You guys have any ideas what the best method would be?

use a 50% water 50% vinegar solution and a soft cloth. I have been using that on the whole boat since I started boating 12 years ago and works great. If it is really stubborn spots let sit for a minute or two.

That works well. You might also try Ducky. Neither product should hurt the lens.
