    i used the watco brand from home depot followed by tip top teak sealer.
    before
    sand and wash cheap labor helps
    let dry
    after many coats it soaked up a whole quart the first time i did this.
    I did it again this year and it only took 1/3 of a quart.
    its down on my priority list but i am going to rhino line this sucker when i get the chance.Unless some one wants to trade a black fiberglass.

            So, using motor oil would be wrong?

              I used to use Boater's world brand, but Starbrite now.

                This thread reminded me to uncover the boat and see what surprises Mother Nature had for me over the winter, since I had towed her home from the storage lot last week. Not too bad...really dusty, needed a good wash, and the teak needed to be oiled (StarBrite). Only surprise, I guess, is some bastard stole the gas from the tank. Security gates and patrols my a$$....

                Hooked up the fake-a-lake, and she started right up...man I love the sound of that engine starting! Looks like I'll need a re-bunk, but I kinda knew that at the end of last season...wood panels along the sides/wheel wells are pretty much dead. Now all we need is some water in the lakes and I'm ready to go!
