Flitz polish

Ok, this may seem like a really stupid question, but my Flitz polish didn't come with any instructions and their website is totally useless.

Do you let the polish dry before buffing or do you polish it before it dries with the buff ball? I'm using it on the gelcoat of my boat.

I use one on my bike I dont let the wax dry

I started on one side of the boat so the Flitz was dry by the time I got back to it. I was putting it on in patches, but I let it dry before I got the haze off.
