A light bulb does well and that is really the only thing I do other than drain the engine block of water.

A bulb in the engine bay is only a method of preventing the block from freezing, there is a lot more to winterizing: Fuel stabilizer, oil change, transmission fluid change, V-drive oil change (if you have one), lube steering cable in grease rudder box, charge battery(s), clean and dry boat, including bilge and storage, drain or add Marine/RV antifreeze to ballast system, if equipped, service trailer bearings and seals, lube coupler, top off brake fluid..........Did I miss anything?

Purchase impeller so it's ready to install before the season starts
