    polishing

how does everyone polish their pridw and joy? by hand or can u buy a buffer that goes slow???

I do polish mine twice a year. One time before we put her away and one time when we start the season. All by hand. I found that the buffer that I have doesn't do a very good job and I am poor and can't purchase a good buffer.

I recommend using a DA (Dual Action) Polisher. Also sometimes referred to as a PC (Porter Cable). Very safe on your finish. It is not a high speed buffer. You can get them from around $100- $150.

Contact SPBFAN and ask him about polish. He can get you all fixed up.

BTW, I finally tried the Babe's Boat Bright upon his recommendation and that stuff is just the nuts. I can't believe I waited this long to try it.

I use 3M compound and wax (all in one) and use a mothers polish ball on my drill set on low speed. Then I go over with a hand towel. I do a 3' section at a time. Works like a charm.
