Has anyone removed the seatbacks from the bow area of their rides? I've got some deep cleaning to do on them (mildew), and would rather do it out of the boat if possible. I don't think even my 11 yr old's arms would fit up in there if there is a nut or screw to be loosened!

It is not a pleasant thing to do, and while getting them out is rough, getting them back in might be even worse. I'm looking forward to getting my interior back from being redone, but I can't say that I'm looking forward to reinstalling it. I can't be sure that Tige never changed their method of securing them, but mine had screws run through at the seams. There were even a couple screws that were behind the vinyl. And you're right, i don't think your 11 year olds arms would fit up there...

I removed the whole thing. The bow was the only challenge. It's possible that they have changed the way they fastened those on. I removed the nuts loose only to find that didn't get the cushion loose. On top of being bolted into place, there were several stainless steel screws going into the fiberglass. They were screwed from the outside, but you couldnt see them. I backed the ones I could get to out with a set of vicegrips on the back. The others, I ran a screwdriver along the seam until i heard the clang of metal. Then I was able to unscrew them. To make matters even more difficult for me, I don't have bow speakers. I know, that sounds like blasphemy.
