    Babe's Boat products (http://www.babesboats.com/) works great for me on a normal use. I got my products from anhaney.

    However, two times a year I wax my boat with a high grade carnuba wax. This allows the Babe's products to work but I don't have to apply more than I need to.

    Side Note: There has been a lot of talk about different products and everyone will have their own opinion. Just make sure you do what you feel what is best. :02);

      I don't know that there is any "best" product to use. It all comes down to personal preference and what everybody percieves as what's "best" for them. You can't go wrong with any of the top brands imo based on my own experiences restoring an old and neglected boat which is a much better canvas for evaluations than a new one.

      A new boat will look good no matter what you put on it but an old one will show what works and what doesn't. I've used Meguire's Flagship wax and 3M wax with great results. I've never used Babe's or any others but you do want a wax with uv inhibitor's especially in California's hot sun. A good vinyl cleaner/protectant topped with 303 is the best for your vinyl as 303 is a uv heavy protectant imo.

        Here's another thumbs up for the meguiar's line. Being that I use my boat in salt water I think it gets pretty well abused when it comes to the finish. My boat is also stored outside, yes covered, but still outside, and looks great with the meguiar's product use. I have heard great things about the 3m products as well, I just can find the meguiar's easier so that is what I use. I went to a marina here in town and asked several detailers what they used on the boats that stayed in the water and took their recommendation. Like the others said though, everyone will have their opinion and even some tests to cite of why one product is better than the other, it really came down to what I could easily find and what people that I trusted suggested. Good luck.

          Yes personal choice is a key but still most waxes dont say wether they are safe to use on fiberglass use or whatever. Is there a difference in those type of products.

            Stay with a wax specified for marine use, they will say it right on the bottle.

              The number 61 one step compound is a great quick cleaner wax and light compound.

              Here is the flagship wax which is a great seasonal wax that takes a little more work but produces great results as Razz and I have attested.

              West Marine and Boater's World both sell the line and you can get them straight from the Meguiar's website.

                Can someone at TIGEWATERSPORTS tell me what it is THEY use on my boat whenever I take it in for servicing? It seems like that stuff works EXCELLENT and it also leaves this lovely fragrance of new boat smell whenever I take it home. You know like the new car smell you dont want to go away. PLEASE WHAT IS THAT STUFF. Its some pink liquid one of the guys said it was meguiars Quick Clean stuff. BUT NO WAY it wasnt. So does anyone know here?

                    Babe's Boat Bright. There is a small amount of wax in the product. I like it a lot. But again, my boat dealer told me about it. Good luck.

                        I did for the second round of products. Saved myself $5 per gallon compared to what the dealer was asking for it.
