    Winter Cover

    Hi guys
Does anyone have a suggestion for a good winter cover for a tige 20i.
We live here in Ireland where the weather is really wet and cold until may. We have our boat on hard standing behind my house. We have the tige cover on her at present but that lets some water in and mildew is a factor.

    Best regards volcane

20x30 Poly tarp pulled over the hole boat, tower and all.

These can work well if it's an option for you.

Saves a lot of wear and tear on the factory cover.

As Chpthril said, poly tarp stretched over. I leave the tower up as it creates airflow across the sunbrella cover. Air enters and exits from the openings around the tires. I used heavy cord to "lace" the tarp underneath through the grommets. You should remove any sharp attachments like racks and such from the tower if you leave it up so it doesn't overly stress the tarp.

My neighbors can't say squat, or won't. Half of 'em probably don't have their green cards and the rest are probably doing something illegal anyway!

There is more toxic problems in CA than a simple boat cover like that anyways.

I have mine shrink wrapped. If you do this option make sure they vent it so you get some airflow under the shrink wrap to help reduce the mold and mildew.

                      Haha, that's wrong.

For you guys who shrink wrap your boats here is a link. I looked into having it done this year and it was cheaper for me to go down the road to the factory and buy a whole roll than to have it done. Not sure what shipping would be for you, but if you went in with a few buddies this is a simple DIY.

Oh well what can i say!

Next year it'll be down the side of the house you see behind it. 10' foot wide space so i'm extending an attached awning from the side of the house to the fence and installing dual swing gates.
