Anyone know if these #'s are interchangable?

I bought a fuel filter # 35-802893T that my closest marina (Malibu dealer) told me I needed based on my engine #.

My Tige dealer, 1.5 hours away, told me I need 35-802893Q01.

The filter on it now is a Quicksilver 35-807172.

I am thoroughly baffled now. The one I have and the one on it now appear to be very close to the same size, but I have yet to remove the old one because I want to be sure I have a new one to put on when it comes off.

Also, is it just the 2 nuts holding the filter on w/ that little bracket?

Thanks for any help if you have it, it is appreciated a bunch!
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

        Jason,
What engine do you have. I have a 350 mag w/ 315hp mpi efi. I have most the p/n for Napa if you need them.

I have the same engine. That would be helpful, Napa has to be cheaper than my marina.

          Thanks TRD.

            Jason,
PM me. I have an excel spreadsheet w/ all my winterization proceedures on it if you would like it. It is a little busy, but it works for me. I like to make sure the boat is ok for the winter. I got a lot of info from the folks on this site about winterizing the boat and just put it into a spreadsheet for my engine package.

Here are the numbers I have:
            oil filter: 1069 gold series
            water/fuel seperator: 3225 gold series
velvet drive dexron III trans oil : 75-200 (2 qts)

I get all the oils and water/fuel and trans oil from napa, got the fog spray from overtons.

I hope Anhaney doesn't mind, but you may want to PM him if you need serpentine belt, impeller and or impeller kits. I have been talking to him about these items. Here is his web site. He is helping me out w/ my impellers and impeller hsg. problems. He also knows a lot about the oils to use also.

            Hope this helps.

I run 2 Seachoice 20911 water seperator filters - one before the fuel flow sensor and one after the sensor (original factory mount). They have 2 sealing rings and are equivalent to the Sierra 18-7845. Even Walmart carries them.
