If it works that good on your boat, I can't imagine what wounders it will do on my girlfriend.

Mildew solution!!!

I keep a spray bottle of 3/4 vinegar 1/4 distilled water(no streaks) for hull cleaning. Spray on and wipe off. Add a minimal amount of elbow grease if needed. Works great on the hull and cleans mildew off pretty easy too. Doesn't hurt the environment too bad either. Just me being a cheap a$$ mostly.

You mean charcoal as in match light or kingsford for a outdoor grill?I don't want to go to work, take me wake surfing instead!

I'm not sure about the charcoal thing. I've read that damp charcoal will produce heat (ever seen steam/smoke from a mulch pile) as it drys and decomposes and can spontaneously combust.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Are the boats that have ongoing mmildew issues stored outside year round?
Is this just happening in damp areas of the country like coastal areas?
I am wondering because my old boat never had a mildew issue in the 14 years I had it. during the on season months it was stored outside for 7 years and in a barn for the winter. the second 7 years it was stored in my garage during the season and back to the same barn. The only issues we had were our bow cover and main cover would get dusty and were also targets for barn swallows.Last edited by Guest; 02-08-2008, 02:50 AM.

Please do, I would love a solution to my mildew problems. I just did the whole scrubbing/comet routine again the weekend before last, now my vinyl is white again...atleast for a few months with as much rain as we are getting right now. I have to say it wasn't as bad this time around, prboably because it has been cold here lately, several days below 70
