so we got our tige' new back in 2001. its one of the 1st 22i-r's that was ever sold. the number one problem i have is our trailer that came with it wasn't actually made for the boat. i wanna say that our dealer said tige' used a 21v rider's edition trailer since they both have the same convex v hull. so anyway whats going on is that the little brass raw water inlet on the bottom is nailing one of the trailer's boards everytime we load it up. i'd understand if i pulled up sideways or something but i'm pretty careful to get it dead on everytime. we've had to recarpet and replace the board so many times now. its just become a problem for me recently because i'm now doing all the maintenance and up keep on it myself. what would you guys suggest that i do? call up tige' and say why did you guys put that board/inlet there? or just torch off the mounts and move the board over? getting it lined up straight seems like it'd be a problem to me if i did that. plus i don't really think it should be up to me to fix a factory design error. also what do i do about gel coat dings? i don't have a lot but the ones that are there are pretty deep. i'll get some pics next time i'm over at my parents and messing with it.

i was afraid of that. i asked skidock what i should do and of course they responded buy a new magnum trailer from us for like 3 or 4g's. we have a roadmaster and i've never liked it personally. i'm going to thread jack my own post but we went out on buchanan a couple weekends ago. my brother's boss has a lake house in the tow area so we trailered our boat over there. had a good time i'd def. do it again. where are good places to ride? i ended up going out in some chop and didn't accomplish much i figured you're the man when it comes to secret spots out there let me know.

I agree with Dog, The dealers usually contract thier own trailers. Might be a little late to ask the dealer/trailer manf. to help out.
I would probably tackle one or two dings myself, but a few deep ones, take it to a gelcoat/fiber glass guy. worth the cost. I'm sure any boat dealer has one that they use and would recommend.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Either side of Rocky Point, depending on wind conditions. If the wind is out of the west, we go across the lake from there.
Also, if you're brave, go up the river past the first set of falls. It's like Lake Austin, 'cept without any boats and much more picturesque.
Let me know when you're up there again.
BTW, if it makes you feel any better, I have the same issue on my trailer.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."
