Transmission is slipping in forward gear

    Hi There,

I have a situation where my transmission is slipping only in the forward gear. I detached the transmission cable and tried to manual put the transmission into gear and nothing happens until I hit 1000 RPMs. I believe i need to get it repaired. It's a 2003 Tige' 22V with a SynchroTech Transmission. Any ideas on the best way to repair these. Can the dealer replace parts in this transmission? Any advice or help woudl be appreciated. Thank you.

Fluid level is correct, right? Before I would go through the time/$$$ of a new trans, I would do a fluid change and see how that does.

Check the fluid in the transmission after the boat has run in the water for a while to warm up the tranny.
