    I have never heard of that. that is very interesting. would an anode on the rudder do that same thing?

      Those anodes are probably the style I want. Also want to add to the platform brackets. Do you know who sells them? I'll call Marine Power and get some prices on the closed cooling. I saw a special flush kit on a thread on Wakeworld http://www.mstguardian.com/prod01.htm What do you think?

        The anodes I was talking about you can get at any boaters world or west marine.

        and that thing just looks like a fancy way to flush the motor
