I could not find anyting resembling what you show in your pics, and again thanks for your help. The area under my distributor and above the bell housing is pretty vacant. There is a very small length of wire harness that is coiled up near that area, but no drain tube. Oh well now that I know how to take my back seat out getting the rest of the boat apart shouldn't be any problem at all. ............. "JOKE"

Scoot18.....look for a rubber type hose with brass end fittings.
I found it! With a little help from Kurt over the phone, the service guy at my dealer he told me where to look. It is actually on the port side down towards the bottom just below the plug wires, zip tied to the dipstick tube. Due to limited access and visibility I don't think I could have found it without his help.
Another issue is I went to drain the oil, lowered the hose down to the back of the bildge area, thinking, man this is gonna be messy. Very little oil drained out. Maybe enough to fill a couple shot glasses. I ended up putting the cap back on and sucking it out of the dipstick tube with my pump. This should not be this difficult. I think I am going to make a new hose set up with a fitting that will screw right onto the drain hose and use my pump that way. Do any of you know if there is some kind of valve that has to be opened to get the oil to drain out of the hose? If there is I will need to open it even if I use my pump. I could not see one anywhere.

Why is no one mentioning synthetic oils? I'm concerned about the top side getting dry because of downtime and have always been under the impression that the synthetics "stick" better? Also, just the sheer extremes we put our engines thru I'd think the synthetic would be better. I know it is required, per the manufactorer, in my snowmobiles.
I called MP and asked them about a synthetic and they said that you could but did not recommend it because that is not what the engine was tested with. And they have done nothing with a synthetic.
I'm not a fan of synthetic. Used it in one of my Vdubs for about 30k....till it started puking oil like a frat boy on a Sunday morning. Re-rung the engine and put about another 80k on it with no problems.

Correct. I did not say anything about the designations. What I was trying to say is that I believe Fram makes it for them.
Allied Signal acually makes them under the names of fram and pennzoil filters.
