Ok so here's this weekends trailer progress, almost done! Yeah! Let's see; stripped the old rusty chrome off of the actuator and painted and installed the complete actuator assembley. Installed new winch, bow roller and safety cable. Installed the brake lines. Wrapped up the trailer wiring, installed the lights and a Jet Connex truck to trailer harness. Installed a set of Rod Saver automatic rear tie downs. Sanded and painted the fenders with truck bed liner from Duplicolor for a bit safer and non-skid surface. Left to do; the aluminum diamond plate re-polish and the sand and paint the guides and bleed the brakes. Almost done!

Ok first off, Won't those tie down straps be in the way of the swim platfom, it sure looks like you'd have to take the platform off to strap the boat down,

Second, what is this "safty cable" you speak of? I have chains...I guess its time to upgrade.

Other than that nice job, trailer looks like new, I see you in a few weeks to work on ours, jobs pays unlimited beer, free aparment and food.

First; Nope, i have about 1 1/2" clearance between the platform and the transom. PLenty of room to slip the hook through.

Second; The safety cable would be the coiled cable hanging beneath the actuator, they've been in use for years. Some mfgrs use cables, some chains.

And finally third; FAT CHANCE! I've had enough of redoing trailers to last me a lifetime! But then again your offer did upstage Dogs!
