to fog or not to fog?

Last year when winterizing I fogged my engine. Then talking to the service guy at the MC dealership he said not to fog an injected engine as over time it messes up the injectors. Help? Then again I may be going down to the Northern Nevada, Cool water reunion so I may wait awhile or have boats of Nevada give my baby a good service once over.

Most service manuals tell us to fog the engine, EFI and MPI engines included.
