Cleaning marks on black rub rails? sandpaper?

What do you guys use to clean marks off of the rubber rub rails? I have some white marks here and there that need to be removed. Thanks

I used goof off and magic erasure, then I turned my guide post nylon shells inside out so only black showing, no more white marks. I did take awhile to do this but didn't do any damage

I have used goof off with no issues thus far... But others may have something safer than that...

Acetone on a rag will peel thru dock rash and the leftovers from a bow roller super quick. Just wax back over it when you are done.

Acetone worked like a charm. No hard rubbing either. Waxed them afterwards and now they look good as new. Gracias!
