I have cracked exhaust muffler on one side (just beyond muffler) in 2001 22i rider's edition with 350 Mag. I noticed that somebody suggested just replacing with wet exhaust hose. Will this work? Will it be too loud? Don't have FAE or any aftermarket stuff. What is best solution? Don't want to repair. Looks pretty corroded.

Hopefully Boatwakes or Black Widow will also chime in. I think they replaced the muffler on hers with wet exhaust hose.
Although I think they both have an FAE. Topazsurfer also bought a stainless muffler from FAE in his as well so you have a few options.
